What Would You Like to Know?
Do you have a shop?
We certainly do! 1/70 Andrew Street, Wynnum QLD. Drop your car in for a tint service and wander around Wynnum while you wait, browse the wonderful local shops, see a movie, have a coffee, or visit the waterfront and chill in the sea breeze. We'll take care of your vehicle and contact you the moment it's ready to be picked up.
Do I need a garage?
No, we can and have tinted outside. We just need access to power but are happy to run extension cords, if it's safe to do so. Tinting outside is weather dependent of course, and we can't guarantee the same quality of finish as we could in an enclosed environment.
Do IÂ need to be home?
We request your presence while we tint your car, to ensure your satisfaction in our work.
How long does it take?
It takes 3-4 hours to tint the average car. Of course this depends on the complexity of the vehicle and the number of windows it has. Generally add an extra half hour per window pair.
What payment types do you take?
Currently, we take bank transfer, online payment (card payments), AFTERPAY, and cash. Payments will need to be cleared before we begin tinting.
What sort of warranty do you have?
Our tint comes with a lifetime, limited non-transferable warranty backed by the manufacturer.
Aren't all tints the same? Why aren't you charging $100 like people on Facebook?
Not all tints are equal. We use Avery Dennison tint which comes with a lifetime warranty and is guaranteed against fading. We've replaced more than a few $100 tints for customers whose tint faded within a few months.
How long before I can wind down windows?
We request that you leave your windows wound up for a minimum of 24 hours.
My car is already tinted, can you remove the old tint first?
We sure can! Just book a custom job, let us know the details and we'll get back to you ASAP.
Are any of your tints darker than legal?
We can do darker tints but will not be held responsible if you're required to remove it.
Cancellation fees?
We don't have cancellation fees, however, we ask that you give us plenty of notice if you do need to cancel, so we can use the booking time again.
What if i change my mind?
We're happy to discuss options with you before we tint the car and can show you roughly how the tint will look on your vehicle. After the tint is on, it's unfortunately too late.
How much cooler will it make my car?
While we can't give you an exact number, it's generally proported that automotive window tint can lower vehicle temperatures by up to 8 degrees Celsius. Avery Dennison NR Series tint has great heat rejection and up to 94% glare reduction, with minimal reflective effect. It also blocks 99+% of harmful UV.
Do you tint houses?
We certainly do! Our bookings page has the option to book in a time for an obligation free quote, under the Flat Glass section.
